Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to get it removed. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

1. Who we are

Logistix is a brand operated by BANTK LOGISTIX PRIVATE LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013, with CIN U52291DC2026PTC473625 and its registered office at F-167, Sudarshan Park, Karam Pura, West Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi 110015, India.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean BANTK LOGISTIX PRIVATE LIMITED. "You" means anyone who visits this website, books a delivery through the Logistix apps, or partners with us as a driver or a business.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. That means we decide why and how your personal data is processed, and we are answerable to you for it.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website, to the Logistix customer and driver-partner mobile apps, and to the support channels we operate over email and phone.

It does not cover websites, apps or services operated by other companies, even if you reach them from a link on our site or through an app store listing. Their own privacy policies apply to them.

3. Information you give us

We ask for the minimum we need to run a delivery and to keep both sides of it accountable. Depending on how you use us, that includes:

  • Contact and identity details — your name, mobile number and email address, given when you create an account or write to us.
  • Delivery details — pickup and drop addresses, contact details of the person receiving the goods, a description of the goods, and any instructions you add for the driver partner.
  • Business details — company name, GSTIN, billing address and the name of your point of contact, if you use us as a business or request an enterprise quote.
  • Driver-partner details — the documents and vehicle information a driver partner submits when applying, so that we can verify eligibility to carry goods.
  • Anything you send us — the contents of an email, a support message, or a form on this website, including anything you choose to attach.

4. Information we collect when you use the service

Some data is generated by the act of booking or completing a delivery rather than typed in by you:

  • Location data — see the separate section below, because it deserves its own explanation.
  • Trip records — pickup and drop points, route, timestamps, vehicle category, distance, fare and payment status.
  • Proof of delivery — a delivery photograph, a recipient's confirmation, or a one-time password entered at handover, where the trip uses one.
  • Device and technical data — device model, operating system version, app version, language, crash and error reports, and a push-notification token so we can send you trip updates.
  • Communications — records of calls or messages between you and a driver partner made through the app, and your correspondence with our support team.

5. Location data

Location is the heart of a logistics service, so we want to be plain about it.

For customers, we use location to set your pickup point accurately, to show you where your vehicle is, and to give you a fare estimate before you confirm a booking.

For driver partners, the app collects location while you are online and available for trips, and during a trip. This is how a job gets offered to a nearby partner, how a customer sees the vehicle approaching, how a route and distance are calculated, and how a dispute about a completed trip can be settled fairly. Location collection while the app is running in the background is used for this purpose only, and it stops when you go offline.

You can switch location permission off at any time in your device settings. If you do, core parts of the service will not work — a customer cannot be matched to a nearby vehicle, and a driver partner cannot receive or complete trips.

6. Why we use your data

We use personal data for these purposes and no others without telling you first:

  • To provide the service — creating your account, matching you with a driver partner, navigating the trip, and recording that it was delivered.
  • To handle money — calculating fares, collecting payment, issuing receipts and invoices, and resolving fare or cash disputes.
  • To keep people safe — verifying driver partners and vehicles, investigating incidents, and acting on reports of unsafe or unlawful conduct.
  • To support you — answering your questions and following up on complaints.
  • To keep the service working — diagnosing crashes, preventing fraud and abuse, and improving reliability and coverage.
  • To meet legal obligations — tax and accounting records, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
  • To tell you about the service — trip updates and service notices. Marketing messages are only sent where you have not opted out, and every marketing message carries a way to stop them.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these situations:

The most important one is the first. A delivery cannot happen anonymously — the person carrying your goods needs to know where to go and who to call.

  • With the other side of your trip — a driver partner assigned to your booking sees your name, contact number, pickup and drop addresses and goods description. You see the driver partner's name, photo, contact number, vehicle details and live location. Contact numbers may be masked where the app supports it.
  • With the recipient — where you send goods to someone else, that person receives delivery updates and may be asked to confirm handover.
  • With service providers who work for us — hosting and cloud storage, mapping and navigation, SMS and one-time-password delivery, push notifications, crash and error reporting, and payment processing. They may only process data on our instructions and for these purposes.
  • With your business account administrator — if you book on a business account, the account owner can see trips booked under it, including routes, fares and invoices.
  • Where the law requires it — with courts, police, tax and regulatory authorities in response to a valid legal request, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
  • In a business transfer — if the company is merged, acquired or reorganised, personal data may transfer with the business, subject to this policy.

8. Cookies and tracking on this website

This website does not set cookies, does not run advertising or analytics trackers, and does not embed third-party tracking pixels. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than fetched from a third party while you browse.

Our web hosting provider processes standard server request information, such as your IP address and browser type, in order to serve pages and protect the site against abuse.

If we add analytics or other cookies later, we will update this section and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for still applies, and for as long afterwards as the law requires us to.

In practice: account and trip records are kept while your account is active and afterwards for the period required by tax, accounting and transport law in India. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the matter and to handle any dispute arising from it. Location traces tied to a completed trip are retained as part of that trip record.

When a retention period ends, we delete the data or anonymise it so that it can no longer be linked to you.

10. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these, write to us at bantklogistix2026@gmail.com from the email address or with the mobile number registered on your account, so that we can confirm it is really you. We will respond within the period prescribed by law.

  • Access — ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we have processed it.
  • Correction — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, updated or completed.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data, unless we are required to keep it to comply with the law.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw a consent you gave us, at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer provide the service.
  • Nominate — nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Grievance redressal — complain to us first, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.

11. Deleting your account

You can ask us to close your account and delete your personal data by writing to bantklogistix2026@gmail.com with the subject line "Account deletion".

We will verify the request, close the account, and delete or anonymise your personal data — except records we are legally required to retain, such as invoices and tax records, and information needed to resolve an open dispute or claim.

12. How we protect your data

We take reasonable security safeguards appropriate to the risk. Access to personal data inside the company is limited to people who need it for their work. Sessions are authenticated, and administrative access is restricted.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

13. Children

The Logistix service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data of a child. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

14. Grievance officer

If you have a complaint about how your personal data has been handled, contact our Grievance Officer, appointed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Grievance Officer, BANTK LOGISTIX PRIVATE LIMITED, F-167, Sudarshan Park, Karam Pura, West Delhi, New Delhi, Delhi 110015, India. Email: bantklogistix2026@gmail.com.

We acknowledge complaints on receipt and aim to resolve them within the timelines set by law. If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes or the law does. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

If a change materially affects how we use your personal data, we will tell you through the app, by email, or by a notice on this website before it takes effect.
